St John the Evangelist Wroxall

Events

St John's annual Christmas Bazaar took place early this year on the 5th November 2016 and was held in Wroxall Community Centre.  It was a lovely bright, crisp day which encouraged people to come and look, come and buy and come and take part in some of the Christmas games.  Tea, Coffee and mince pies were on offer all morning and tasty homemade soup was served with a roll for lunchtime.

As usual the cake stall did a 'roaring trade', as did the popular raffle.  The Silent Auction didn't have so many items this year but there were some good bargains to bid for.

Christmas balloons decorated the outside railings of the Community Centre which alerted people to the event.  During the morning Father Christmas arrived together with Busby the Donkey, making an appearance from the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary which is just down the road from St John's.
